Student Announcements

Anyone planning on attending Prom:  You must be academically eligible to attend Prom.  Before buying tickets and prom apparel be sure that you are eligible.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Lake.

From now until the end of the year no student is allowed in the building from 3:45 until 4:30 unless you are in detention or working with a teacher.  After 4:30 no student is allowed in the building unless it is official school business.  No loitering will be tolerated. 

Students parking in a non parking area in the back parking lot will be fined $25.

Any junior boy who is interested in Boy's State please stop in the guidance office and pick up an application packet. Applications are due back by March 15th.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR GIRLS:
Applications are now available in Guidance for Girls' State, which will be held during the week of June 7 - 14, 2008, in Powell, Wyoming. Applications will be picked up by the Girls' State representative on Thursday, March 13, 2008.  See Guidance if you have any questions.

Staff and Students:
Reminder of the upcoming practice ACT for all juniors on:  Tuesday, March 4th, 8:10 - 12:00, State Fairgrounds Cafeteria.  Students should report to 1st hour for attendance and then immediately report to the back parking lot to board the busses.  The juniors in Special Education will remain at DHS to do the pre-ACT informational activities.  All juniors will eat C Lunch on March 4th.

Reminder of the upcoming actual ACT for all juniors on:  Tuesday, March 11th, 8:10 - 12:00, State Fairgrounds Cafeteria.  The same information from above applies to this actual test date.  All juniors will eat C Lunch on March 11th.

Seniors:  Local Scholarship booklets have now been distributed at DHS.  Applications
are available in the Guidance Office, and most are due to the Guidance Office by March 28th.  Please use the DHS Guidance Office Wiki Page to print your own copy of the local scholarship book.

Attention Seniors:  Jostens will be here to hand out your graduation orders on Wednesday, March 26th from 11:00-12:40.  Please be sure to have your payment ready at that time. 

There will be a sophomore class meeting on March 26th w/Jostens to meet w/Jostens to be given information on Class rings.  Jostens will return on April 1st to size fingers and take ring orders. 

Wrestlers:  Your gear needs to be turned in by Thursday, March 6
