Senior pictures for the yearbook are being accepted by Mr. Sieg.  Please turn in your senior pictures by December 12.

A Casper College admissions counselor will be at DHS on Thursday, December 11th from 1:30 - 3:30 in the media center. She will be helping seniors complete the admission process to Casper College. To sign up for a time slot, please stop in the guidance office.

Yarn and Yak this Friday - come learn to knit or crochet and make great gifts or items to keep!  Sign up with Nurse Jean.  It will be held during Friday school in the Home Ec. Room Dec. 12th.   Supplies provided for learning or bring your own, if you already know how come join us!

JUNIORS:  Discover Scholarships (10 at $30,000 each)…may be used for any type of post high school education or training, certification, licensing, 2 or 4-year trade and tech schools, or 2 and 4-year colleges.  Criteria include minimum GPA of 2.75 plus community service, leadership, and has faced a significant roadblock or challenge.  Apply online at

If you are interested in ref-ing 5th & 6th Grade Basketball stop by the Rec Center Office to sign up.  Pay is $13 a game.

Student Council members remember to be working on the "BIG GIVE".  Class Money Holders please see Mrs. Seeds TODAY to pick up your money.  The deadline is Thursday, December 11 @ 4:00!  Remember this is the season for giving!

There will be an opportunity to take the ASVAB test on January 8th at 8:15 in the upper aud. Please stop in the guidance office to sign up.

FBLA:  Remember to pay your dues ($20) by Thursday or you will not be able to get your FBLA t-shirt this year. 

Students taking the ACT this Saturday:  Please report to the MEDIA CENTER at DHS no later than 7:45 a.m.  PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION!  Testing begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.  No food/drink is permissible in the testing location.   Bring an approved calculator.  Pencils will be provided.  Eat a nutritious breakfast.

The National Wild Turkey Federation is offering a $1,000 scholarship for any school, anywhere.  The deadline is January 1, 2009.  Criteria include:  possession of a current hunting license, and agreement to become a member of this federation at no cost.  See Guidance for the application packet!
