Senior pictures for the yearbook are being accepted by Mr. Sieg. Please turn in your senior pictures by December 12.
Jostens will be here on 12/2 during lunches to take any orders from seniors who have yet to order caps and gowns. PLEASE be sure to meet with them if you have not ordered your cap and gown!!
A Casper College admissions counselor will be at DHS on Thursday, December 11th from 1:30 - 3:30 in the media center. She will be helping seniors complete the admission process to Casper College. To sign up for a time slot, please stop in the guidance office.
Yarn and Yak - come learn to knit or crochet and make great gifts or items to keep! Sign up with Nurse Jean. It will be held during Friday school in the Home Ec. Room Dec. 5th and 12th. Supplies provided for learning or bring your own, if you already know how come join us!

Seniors and Parents: There will be a Family Fun Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, Dec. 9th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Commons area. Supper will be provided, compliments of EWC's Gear-Up program. Topics covered will include the FAFSA, merit and need based scholarships, national and regional and state scholarships, new federal programs, etc. There will also be door prizes and great give-aways. Come for a FUN and INFORMATIVE evening at DHS in cooperation with EWC. Please call the DHS Guidance Office at 358-2975 if you have any questions.
Freshmen: If you are interested in the Rocky Mountain Academic Talent Search, please let the Guidance Office know.
JUNIORS: Discover Scholarships (10 at $30,000 each)…may be used for any type of post high school education or training, certification, licensing, 2 or 4-year trade and tech schools, or 2 and 4-year colleges. Criteria include minimum GPA of 2.75 plus community service, leadership, and has faced a significant roadblock or challenge. Apply online at www.applyists.net DEADLINE: Jan. 31

Wednesday, Dec. 17th– As needed finals in Social Studies, Industrial Arts (Math, English, Science if 2 days are needed)
Thursday, Dec. 18th– Schedule Changes and work in the guidance area, finals makeup if needed
Friday, Dec. 19th– Makeup Finals
