Anyone planning on attending Prom: You must be academically eligible to attend Prom. Before buying tickets and prom apparel be sure that you are eligible. If you have any questions please see Mr. Lake.

SOPHOMORES:
If you are interested in applying for an opportunity to attend the University of Wyoming Summer High School Institute, June 8 - 28, 2008, please pick up an application in Guidance. Criteria include being a good student; having a desire to experience college life through living in a dorm and taking fun classes/field trips with other sophomores from around the state; learning about world hunger, plants and people, knights and cowboys, drama, ethics and society, communicating with computers, understanding cultural development, pharmacy, and the links between life and the arts. The goal is not to pass tests in these areas but rather to challenge imaginations, focus diverse disciplines on specific issues or problems, and integrate various individual talents into a larger perspective. DEADLINE: February 1, to Guidance.

The Rec Center is offering a Swim Lesson Instructor Class to begin on Feb 10, being swim lesson instructor is fun, rewarding and great pay. For more information see Deb at the pool office.

Seniors:

Central Wyoming College in Riverton, Wyoming is announcing its Application/Scholarship Day at DHS!! Please sign up for a time in Guidance. The representative will be here on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, during all lunches!!

Seniors - If you are attending Univ. of WY and need the "Student Immunization and Health History Form" they are available in the Nurse's Office and Guidance. Nurse Jean will be happy to fill out the immunization information for you.

A Mesa State College Admissions Counselor will be here Monday, Feb. 4th at 3:30. If you would like to have a meeting please stop in the guidance office and sign up.
